So You've Been Banned from Pax Baculum
If you're reading this, either you're not logged in, you haven't registered an account, or you've been banned and have subsequently logged out in order to view the redirect links on the login page. If you have, in fact, been banned from our little discussion board, let me tell you why you weren't. You weren't banned because you were so brilliant or such a great debater that we just couldn't "handle you." You weren't banned because we couldn't refute your weighty insight into the topics discussed. You weren't banned because you disagreed with the prevailing sentiment of the forum, or because you were "winning" a debate and we wanted the last word, or because we only permit "certain types" of people here.
No, if you were banned, it was for one reason, and one reason only: You have proven incapable of reasonable, rational discussion. That's the standard we hold our posters to, and it's a much higher one than is the norm. That's why our forum is NOT a troll pit full of rancor and childish insults, and that's why it's going to stay that way. If you were banned, we imagine that, deep down, you know you weren't up to the challenge. Anything else you tell yourself, and anything you petulantly shriek to others about us, is just a coping mechanism. You were banned for being a troll, and that's all.
